Hurricane Fabian Approaches Bermuda, September 4, 2003
This animation is of Hurricane Fabian on September 4, 2003 as it churns towards Bermuda. At this time, Fabian had maximum sustained winds of 120 mph and was moving to the north-northwest at 12 mph. The animation peels away the cloud layer and reveals the storms rain structure. The yellow isosurface represents areas where at least 0.5 inches of rain fell per hour. The green isosurface show 1.0 inches of rain per hour and red displays where more than 2 inches of rain fell per hour.
Magnetosphere II: The Solar Wind Strikes Back!
A view of a computer-generated model of the Earth's magnetosphere. Semi-transparent surfaces represent particle density (red is high, blue is low), the silvery tube represent magnetic field lines and the yellow ribbons represent the paths of charged solar wind particles. In this particular model, the solar wind has an ambient density of 8.35 particles-cm^3. The isosurfaces are then red (>17 particles-cm^3), yellow (>12 particles-cm^3), green (>8.6 particles-cm^3) and blue (<1.0 particle-cm^3).

The Cambodian Invasion
Learn how a what was supposed to be a step towards ending the war, only made it worse during the Vietnam War. This video shows how President Nixon made a mistake as he advocated the invasion of Cambodia. Tells about the killing of student protesters in America by police and troops was caused by this action.
