Time domain method for accurate non-destructive determination of concrete pavement thickness (A)
The material in this thesis focuses on the problem of accurately determining the thickness of a concrete pavement layer via non-destructive means. Existing methods are reviewed, and limitations governing their use outlined. An alternative method based on isolating P-waves reflected off the pavement base in the time-domain is proposed.
