New feature: your own personal video queue You are at work, browsing Channel 9 and you see this great episode of Defrag has just been published on Channel 9… but you work in a cubicle and if you lean back and watch a 30 minute video, you’d probably get fired. Music, Waves, Physics
This course teaches students in high school in advanced physics courses the concept of waves as seen in sound. A solid understanding of calculus is a prerequisite.
Accent Classification using Neural Networks
Creating an algorithm for detecting and classifying accents using formant analysis and neural networks.
Demo for Dummies
This course is designed for dummies to illustrate how even they can add new knowledge and distribute it world wide.
The DFT, FFT, and Practical Spectral Analysis
This course gives an outline of the Discrete Fourier Transform and an in-depth look at the Fast Fourier Transform. Many different ways of speeding up a discrete Fourier Transform are examined and evaluated for how efficient they are.
Genefinding
Genefinding - the basic structure of the course attempts to answer the following questions: 1) What is genefinding? 2) Why do we care? 3) Why is it difficult? What is the challenge? 4) What's being done currently? What are the current methods? 5) How are we doing? Emphasis is placed heavily on computational methods for genefinding with discussion as to how the compliment experimental gene finding methods.
ECE 320 - Spring 2003
Development of real-time digital signal processing (DSP) systems using a DSP microprocessor; several structured laboratory exercises, such as sampling and digital filtering, followed by an extensive DSP project of the student's choice.
ECE 301 Projects Fall 2003
Team Projects created for the ECE 301, Fall 2003.
Understanding Your French Horn
For eighth grade and up, a series of lessons that can be offered by an instructor or done as a self-study course, to teach French horn players more about their instrument.

Calico Watercolor Cats
This two-class lesson focuses on students learning how to draw a cat using geometric shapes, learning and applying wet-on-wet technique of watercolor painting, and using crayon to create area surrounding cats. The final art product will be a mixed media painting of one cat and one kitten in an indoor or outdoor environment. Students will orally present their completed artwork using prepositions and nouns to describe the location of their cats.
Instruments in action
Students will demonstrate mastery of eight measures of four beats by speaking, moving and playing. They will classify instruments metals, woods, scrapers, ringers, shakers, etc.
Developing continuous air during articulation
Combining long tones and burst-tonguing will assist many beginning instrument players to eliminate excessive breaths while articulating.
PediNeuroLogic Exam: Newborn: Normal: Tone - Leg Recoil
To test leg recoil, the legs are fully flexed on the abdomen for a few seconds, then the legs are quickly extended and released. The legs should spring back to the flexed position. Legs that remain extended could be due to either hypotonia or abnormal extensor tone. A neuroscience tutorial focusing on those aspects of the pediatric neurological examination that are unique to the child's nervous system, with an emphasis on important neurodevelopmental milestones.
Gait Exam: Abnormal Examples: Neuropathic Gait
This girl has weakness of the distal right lower extremity so she can't dorsiflex her foot. In order to walk she has to lift her right leg higher then the left to clear the foot and avoid dragging her toes on the ground. The first principle of neurologic diagnosis is regional or anatomical localization. In order to become skillful the student must understand how structure relates to function of the nervous system. The neurologic examination permits "dissection" of the nervous system and localize
