Sink or Swim: Sea Level Rise - Implications for Dunedin. Session 1
An information evening open to the public to discuss issues around sea level rise and how it might affect low lying suburbs and coastal communities in the Dunedin area. Learn what the DCC and ORC are planning as well as hearing about possible engineering solutions and the social aspects of sea level rise.
It is being chaired by Professor John Hannah, member of the F.I.G. Task Force on Climate Change.

Phil 7: Existentialism in Literature and Film - Spring 2006. The course will be organized around various attempts to reinterpret the Judeo/Christian God, and to determine in what sense, if at all, such a God is still a living God. We will study Dostoyevsky's and Kierkegaard's attempts to preserve a non-theological version of the God of Christianity, as well as Nietzche's attempt to save us from belief in any version of God offered by our tradition. Vowel Modification and Range Considerations
This module makes suggestions regarding the use of vowel modification for expression and in the voice range for consistency of tone and vowel coloration. The concept of vowel modification must be used in conjunction with good choral tone and good breathing techniques.
