Bio-retina could be boon for the blind Aug. 29 - An Israeli company has developed an artificial retina to restore sight to millions blinded by retinal disease. Testing the performance of structural models in pricing credit spreads Manuel Rodrigues outlines his research into financial models that are structurally driven by the Black-Scholes formula in order to determine equity pricing; and whether they under or over-produce credit risk. In order for firms to properly price credit risk, his research goes on to look at which market most efficiently tells us about fundamental increases in credit risk.
