L'île is a database about Quebecois Francophone writers. It features biographies or bibliographies of around 1,000 Quebecois authors and dossiers of press articles relating to about 360 writers; the latter are only available on a paid basis. The website covers many genres of writers: novelists, poets, playwrights, biographers, children's writers and cartoonists.
