Flu Virus and Flu Vaccines
This video explains what the flu is, how it spreads, and how it is treated. It describes how flu vaccinations are developed each year to help prevent outbreaks and how the vaccine works with your immune system to create antibodies to fight off the flu virus. It also provides a history of the flu going back to 1918 and explains how it was more serious during those times when medicine was not as advanced as it is today. (4:08)
