SUNY Oswego Students Discover "Earth's Fury" in Iceland.
SUNY Oswego students and an Icelandic guide discover an example of "Earth's Fury in Iceland," the title of David Valentino's spring 2011 quarter course that led to the journey in May. They came across a series of geothermal steam vents along a volcanic fracture zone near Hverageroi, Iceland. Valentino and students hiked the valley and then bathed in a natural hot spring.
