Emotions and calls
Birds use different calls to understand each other. Birds can give distress calls and other calls to let other birds know how they feel. Similarly, humans can detect how other humans feel by the tone of voice they use. They can use their hearing abilities to assess the emotions and moods of others.
Effects of smoking on humans
Tobacco contains nicotine, an addictive substance. Tobacco is the main substance in cigarettes. There are thousands of harmful chemicals in cigarettes. Second-hand smoke, where smoke from a burning cigarette is inhaled by someone who is not smoking, is just as bad as smoking a cigarette. Tobacco use of any kind can cause cancer and adversely affect the human body.
