Little Red Riding Hood
This short film created by university students is directed at a first grade content standard asking students to "Identify and describe the elements of plot, setting, and characters." The video is esentially a version of the classic "Little Red Riding Hood" with no questions or activities to go with the story. It would work well as a starting point for familiarizing the students with the story and then creating questions that would check their knowledge of story elements.
