Pygmy Seahorse Camouflaged Against Coral
This short video gives excellent real life, close up footage of a Pygmy Seahorse against bright pink coral. The pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti) is undoubtedly one of the most well camouflaged species in the oceans, being extremely difficult to spot amongst the gorgonian coral it inhabits. So effective is this camouflage that the species wasn’t actually discovered until its host gorgonian was being examined in a lab. This is a great resource to help build background k

Combined Gas Law Demonstration
This video introduces an apparatus that can be used to show the mathematical relationship between volume, pressure, and temperature in the combined gas law. It is done in a way that introduces the apparatus to the teacher, but it could still be used in the classroom to introduce it to the students. It does not go into much major detail about the gas law itself, or the math involved, but it is an interesting device that might keep students interested in the topic. This video is a pub for th
Charles Law Lecture and Demonstration
Charles Law states that the volume of a given mass of a gas is directly proportional to its Kevin temperature at constant pressure. This video explains one of the gas laws, Charles' Law, and runs through the math needed to solve a problem using Charles' Law. It is in lecture form, with a teacher at whiteboard, but the demonstration afterwards is very interesting. The demonstration shows how Charles' Law works by using a bowl of water, a candle, and a glass. (5:04)
Lecture and Demonstration of Boyle's Law
Boyle’s Law states that volume of a given amount of gas held at a constant temperature varies inversely the with pressure. This video shows a teacher lecturing, at a whiteboard, about one of the gas laws, Boyle's Law. The lecture explains the concept of Boyle's Law, as well as works through a math problem using Boyle's law. (4:32)

A Journey Through the Human Eye: How We See
We depend on our eyes more than any other sense, however many of us take this precious gift for granted. Without them, we could not experience a beautiful sunset, see the faces of our loved ones, or view the natural marvels of the world. We rely on our eyesight for so much, but most people have only a vague idea of how our eyes work. There are actually many different parts of the eye working together to form a unique self-sustaining system. Though smaller than a ping-pong ball, the eye allows us
