This module is aimed post GCSE students in semester A and addresses common grammatical problems areas. The grammar exercises are also supported by audio, so that the pronunciation is underlined and listening skills are practiced. The transcript reader of the listening exercises allows students to identify words/passages they find difficult to understand.
Mandarin stage 1 semester A

There is just the instructor speaking the French language--there are no moving images. This video would be better served if the words in English or French appeared on the screen, however, a teacher of the French language could pause the video for clarification and comprehension.

The instructor recites 'action' words, or verbs, in a cooking establishment. This brief video, has simple sentences spoken by a native speaker in French and the sentences are accompanied by appropriate images. The video, however, would be better served if the English translation were present, especially for beginning French learners. It is well-produced with clear sound.
