1929 Stock Market Crash
In this 2:33 video about what some have called, Black Thursday, the Roaring Twenties ends and a world-wide economic depression starts. After the stock market crashed, people started panicking and eventually President Hoover said things would go back to normal in 60 days, but by 60 days, the depression spread around the world. This is a good video to show the impact of this event and provide the students with insights into its cause.
