The Titanic Discovery: Professor Robert Ballard
Marine explorer Robert Ballard, a professor of oceanography at the University of Rhode Island, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic with a lecture about his discovery of the ship's resting place. The "unsinkable" Titanic sank in the North Atlantic on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912.
