Makuu 10th Anniversary
Makuu, Penn's black cultural-resource center is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Makuu, which means "home" or "headquarters" in Swahili, is a fitting name for the organization because many students consider Makuu their home away from home.
At Makuu, students can participate in cultural events, meet people who share similar cultural experiences and find guidance in academics and in handling personal issues.
