It was remodeled in 1910 in a neo-classical design that incorporated a portion of the older building in the center with new wings and façade. David Colwell is one of the United Kingdom's most respected designers. His furniture pieces have won many awards and are in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.
