One more challenge faced the senior officers as they celebrated completion of two years of internet-based studies at the Army War College's distance education program. The largest graduation class in college history received their diplomas on a day of record-breaking heat, July 22, at historic Carlisle Barracks.

(This is just a small clip of the ceremony, but the viewer can see the memorial and the building that is being (re-)constructed.) It was a tragedy that claimed the lives of thousands in an instant, and later brought two wars with an even more devastating death toll. The United States is marking a decade since the 9/11 attacks.
