This short video shows a teacher administering a symbol imagery assessment to a seven-year-old student. The video connects the results of the student's assessment to his decoding skills. As his recognition of letters grows stronger, that will in turn help with his decoding of words. When decoding becomes more automatic, it will help the student's reading comprehension.
