The Dedication of the Robbins Tower was held on April 22, 2011. The Tower was given in honor of Dr. W. David Robbins, Dean of the Robins School of Business from 1959-1977 by Alice and Bob Jepson (B'64, GB'75 and H'87).

American Sign Language Meets American Idol at University of Rochester
In a clever play on American Idol, University of Rochester undergraduates and high school students from the Greece Central School District show off their knowledge of American Sign Language during Sign Idol, a competition in which students interpret the lyrics to songs using sign language. Sponsored by undergraduate student group, American Sign Language Club, Sign Idol gives students a chance to practice English to ASL interpretation in an innovative, fun way.
