A semaphorin code defines subpopulations of spinal motor neurons during mouse development.
In the spinal cord, motor neurons (MNs) with similar muscle targets and sensory inputs are grouped together into motor pools. To date, relatively little is known about the molecular mechanisms that control the establishment of pool-specific circuitry. Semaphorins, a large family of secreted and cell surface proteins, are important mediators of developmental processes such as axon guidance and cell migration. Here, we used mRNA in situ hybridization to study the expression patterns of semaphorins

Kid's Character Builder-Confidence-Part 1 of 2
In part one of this video confidence is defined as the courage to try. Smuggles was excited about the upcoming duck dash race. Smuggles finds a small, sad duck hiding in a bush named Weatherby. Smuggles tries to help build confidence in Weatherby so he will participate in race. Cute song played. Some lyrics include "When you're feeling so small you can't see past the wall. Confidence will make you 10 feet tall". This is a great teaching resource for a teachable moment that arises in the classroo

Samuel the Boy Prophet
In keeping with her vow, Hannah dedicates her child to God. From his days as a young boy serving Eli, the high priest, to guiding the ancient Israelites, Samuel the prophet stands as an inspiring example of how we, too, can delight in our relationship with God. This story brings to life several episodes from the life of Samuel and invites all to discover the joy of faithful service to God. This is a wonderful teaching resource for a Christian classroom, a church activity, and/or for home to shar
