This summer it paid a handful of members in North America to make recordings via its mobile app and post them on the Web. On May 8 1902, Mt Pelee in Martinique in the Carribean spits out a terrifying Nuées ardentes a burning 400 degree cloud of ash, gas and rock traveling down that destroyed the area. The video has good photos and is easy to follow, but it lacks maps that would help students locate the area. 1:30
