Richard spent nearly ten years as group Vice President in charge of Research and Development for Ford and its subsiduary companies worldwide, leading a staff of 30,000 Product Development professionals in 15 countries. He was also the company's Chief Technical Officer up until his retirement in 2007. He now consults a range of blue-chip clients and is involved in a number of engineering
