This unit focuses on a specific case study, which follows the development of a drug for the treatment of high blood pressure. This unit enables you to hear about some of the participants in the Local Exchange and Trading Schemes (LETS). These are associations of people who make offers of goods and services to and from each other. What is on offer and the requests people make are listed in local directories.
