In this computer-animated storybook, Fern the Fox travels to the rainforest of Brazil. She meets animals of the region, the Scarlet Macaw, tapir, and capybara. After learning that many of these animals are losing their homes, Fern becomes concerned and launches a Save the Rainforest campaign. The words of the story appear on each page and are highlighted as they are read. ( 6:01)

The STS-135 and Expedition 28 crews hold a farewell ceremony and close the hatches between the International Space Station and space shuttle Atlantis. The hatches between the spacecraft were open for seven days, 21 hours and 41 minutes.
Atlantis Pilot Doug Hurley and Mission Specialist Rex Walheim field questions from NASA Explorer School students as part of the "Summer of Innovation" during an in-flight educational event. It was the last opportunity for shuttle crew members to respond to students' questions.

The Flight Day 12 wakeup music was "Don't Panic" by Coldplay, which was played for Pilot Doug Hurley. This was the last wakeup song played for a shuttle crew while docked to the International Space Station.
