Use the ISO rating system to control the speeds of the film that you use. The smaller the ISO number the less sensitive it is to light. This is also used in digital cameras in the main menu of the digital camera. If you are shooting in bright outdoor light choose 50-100. Indoors with household light use film with an ISO setting of 400. Use the right exposure so you don't over expose the film.
