Internet Modern History Sourcebook
The Internet Modern History Sourcebook is one of series of history primary sourcebooks. It is intended to serve the needs of teachers and students in college survey courses in modern European history and American history, as well as in modern Western Civilization and World Cultures. Although this part of the Internet History Sourcebooks Project began as a way to access texts that were already available on the Internet, it now contains hundreds of texts made available locally.
DynaFit - (Bio)Chemical Kinetics and Equilibria
The freely available software package uses a nonlinear least-squares regression analysis to fit chemical kinetic, enzyme kinetic, or ligand-receptor binding data to a user-defined molecular mechanism represented symbolically by a set of chemical equations. Dynafit is available for Microsoft Windows XP or 2000.

Cosmic Survey: What are Your Ideas About the Universe?

Thinking in Progress
This article tells the story of 11-14 year- o l d students using a rather new and relatively untested programming system to represent and discuss some deep mathematical ideas. There is one caveat: we have chosen the episodes to indicate the possibilities that can emerge when children are given new ways to talk and think about mathematics. We cannot lay claim to any generality: we would invite the reader to look where we are pointing, not at our fingers!

This course provides an introduction to stochastic processes in communications, signal processing, digital and computer systems, and control. Topics include continuous and discrete random processes, correlation and power spectral density, optimal filtering, Markov chains, and queuing theory.
Computer Applications for Instruction and Training
Introduction to basic computer applications on a Macintosh computer, with special emphasis on software that may be used in instruction and training. In this course, students will orient themselves to the Macintosh environment, get a brief overview of Macintosh-specific software, and learn the fundamental basics of the following tools available to assist in instruction and training: PowerPoint, Photoshop, GoLive, and iMovie.
