Introduction to Glycolysis
Living cells can process certain sugar molecules, rearranging their atoms and this process can supply energy to the cell to power growth and other functions. This process is called glycolysis. Glycolysis evolved billions of years ago when there was no oxygen in the earth's atmosphere and it was therefore impossible for cells to gain energy from the oxidation of sugar molecules using oxygen. Later when oxygen was produced as a byproduct of photosynthesis cells evolved to utilise oxygen to oxidise
16.901 Computational Methods in Aerospace Engineering (MIT)
This course serves as an introduction to computational techniques arising in aerospace engineering. Applications are drawn from aerospace structures, aerodynamics, dynamics and control, and aerospace systems. Techniques include: numerical integration of systems of ordinary differential equations; finite-difference, finite-volume, and finite-element discretization of partial differential equations; numerical linear algebra; eigenvalue problems; and optimization with constraints.
Digital Cameras
Introduction to digital cameras including ISO, film speed, digital camera, charged couple device (CCD), lenses, SLR body, focal length, angle of view, wide-angle lens, telephoto lens, close-ups, aperture, exposure, f/number, shutter speed, focus, depth of field.
Basiskennis fysica : Test jezelf Deze test onderzoekt wat de leerlingen al kennen van fysica.

Je kan deze test gebruiken in het begin van het schooljaar voor een klas in het derde leerjaar.
5.12 Organic Chemistry I (MIT)
This subject deals primarily with the basic principles to understand the structure and reactivity of organic molecules. Emphasis is on substitution and elimination reactions and chemistry of the carbonyl group. The course also provides an introduction to the chemistry of aromatic compounds.
Laboratory Investigations - Background
This is a brief introduction to a series of laboratory-based investigations.
Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills - Communicate with other people
An introduction to communication skills required by lab
technicians working in scientific and medical testing laboratories. Covers effective
interpersonal skills, including ethics and codes of conduct, non-discriminatory
behaviour and sexual harassment issues.
