The fight for civil rights was the fight for equality. In this song, witness Martin Luther King Jr. use the most powerful weapon of all: words. The song covers the passing of the Civil Rights Bill, the Voting Rights Act and Brown v. Board of Education. Over 60 attendees joined Mary Ann "MA" Prater to enjoy a baseball tailgate in her honor on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The tailgate celebrated her retirement after 30 years of teaching. Over the past year, many of her friends, family, colleagues, and alumni raised nearly $110,000 in her honor for a naming opportunity in the School of Accountancy, Finance, and Legal Studies. In addition, one anonymous alum created a $100,000 endowment in her honor for the School. MA threw out the first pitch during t
