The Role of Red Blood Cells in Anemia
Watch this one-minute video to learn about how the body makes red blood cells, which contain hemoglobin and carry oxygen throughout the body. Anemia occurs when there are too few red blood cells or not enough hemoglobin.
What is Sickle-Cell Anemia?
In sickle-cell anemia, the hemoglobin is abnormal, causing the red blood cells to be rigid and shaped like a C or sickle, the shape from which the disease takes its name. This video shows how the shape of sickle cells causes them to get stuck in vessles and block the flow of blood, which can result in pain and infections.
Fourth Crusade
This two minute student made video provides a brief synopsis of the main events of the Fourth Crusade.The crusaders wanted to take a different route this time by sailing to Egypt and back up again instead of coming from the north. They had a problem because they didn't have enough ships, so they went to Venice to get ships and in return they had to get back Zara for them and in the end they did. The Pope' actions are explained.

The Polish Ottoman war was fought for the Commonwealth of Lithuania and Poland. It lasted from 1672 to 1676. This very short video is an overview.
