Let's Travel the World Through Books
This event, sponsored by the Library of Congress National Book Festival and the D.C. Public Library, featured master storyteller Diane Macklin, music by the Elise Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School Student band, and special guest NFL linebacker Chris Draft. The event was designed to promote the summer reading theme of "One World, Many Stories" and serve as an introduction to the Library's 2011 National Book Festival.

This video was made to test out a relativistic version of Direct Coulomb Summation and is intended to be displaying fields of different moving charge configurations. Coulomb’s Law is well defined and also that inverse square fields propagate at the speed of light is well known. Hence why not put both into the same equation. In general, the video uses Coulomb's law to compute an observational cube of data. The dataset is then sent to a ray tracer which produces the images in the video

Assimilation of N2O in the Upper Atmosphere Using a Kalman Filter: N2O Mixing Ratio
This series of animations shows assimilation of N2O in the upper atmosphere using observations from the Cryogenic Limb Etalon Spectrometer (CLAES) on the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS). Winds were provided by the Goddard EOS Data Assimilation System (GEOS-DAS). Flow is at the 850K isentropic level. N2O mixing ratio is expressed in parts per billion volume (ppbv).

Reading Mini-lesson: Asking Questions
A teacher recorded video showing a reading comprehension mini lesson on asking two types of questions, thick and thin. "Thick questions" are questions you have to think about, while "thin questions" are questions you look back in the passage to answer. There are three versions of this sonnet but this one is the most commonly reprinted. Also there's a modern horror novel of the same name, by Dan Simmons. Steven King said it was one of the three greatest horror novels of the 20th century.
