Verbs of Action and Movement
This lesson deals with action verbs and their uses in English. There is an introduccion showing a castle and some history of the castle. After minute 3:31 the presenter shows the meaning of many action verbs using body language and you can read the words on the screen. There is a definition of "action" and enumeration of action verbs such as stand up, sit down, scratch, etc.
Helping Verb Song
Mrs. Jefferies class was divided into small groups and given the task of memorizing a list of helping/being/linking verbs. They did this by putting the words into various songs. This group used a Justin Bieber song as their tune.
