Using a Solar Still: Juice
In this video segment from ZOOM, two cast members repeat an experiment designed to separate fresh water from a liquid solution, this time using colored sugar water in one solar still and orange juice in another. The basic still design they employ traps water vapor that is created when the Sun's heat causes water to evaporate. As the vapor cools, it condenses and trickles down to a collection container. Anyone with a computer, a microphone and an internet connection can create a podcast. If you are using a Mac you have podcasting built right into your computer in garage band. You need a way to edit your podcast. Next you need a way to post your podcast. Create an RSS feed so people can subscribe to your podcast.
