Respond to non-conformance of food safety controls
A Food Safety Program enables food establishments to ensure
food production methods are safe, hygienic and that they comply with food
regulations and legislation. The Food Safety Program systematically identifies the
food safety hazards that may be reasonably expected to occur in your workplace. It
identifies where and how each hazard can be controlled, describes how these controls
are to be monitored, the corrective action required if control conditions are not
met, and
Space School: Mars
This seven minute video offers insights and statistics about Mars. Well done with excellent images. The red planet Mars is very much like Earth because it also has rolling plains, mountain ranges, and giant canyons. Mars, one of the rocky inner planets is roughly half the size of Earth. Its core is most likely composed of iron, nickel, and sulfur. A day in Mars is 24 hours and 39 minutes long. Mars' orbit around the sun takes almost two Earth years. A Martian year lasts 687 days. This is some of

Erythemal Index for August 2000 through July 2001: North and South America
The Erythemal Index is a measure of ultraviolet radiation (UV) at ground level on the Earth. UV exists to the left of the visible spectrum and is divided into three components (UV-A, UV-B and UV-C). UV-B (290-320 wavelengths) is the most dangerous form of UV radiation that can reach ground level. Atmospheric ozone shields life at the surface from most of the harmful components of solar radiation. Chemical processes in the atmosphere can effect the level of protection provided by the ozone in the
"Bioethics, Spring 2009"
" This course does not seek to provide answers to ethical questions. Instead, the course hopes to teach students two things. First, how do you recognize ethical or moral problems in science and medicine? When something does not feel right (whether cloning, or failing to clone) — what exactly is the nature of the discomfort? What kind of tensions and conflicts exist within biomedicine? Second, how can you think productively about ethical and moral problems? What processes create them? Why do pe

2.1 Institutional science promotion events
This unit will look at how public engagement in science and technology might be achieved through science promotion. Science promotion and public involvement in policy making can require both formal and informal objectives: some are explicit and some are implicit, some are articulated at the planning stage and some are unexpected. These objectives can entail participation, engagement, knowledge exchange and learning – all of which require a degree of motivation by all parties.
7.4 Summary of Section 7
Hearing is a familiar and important human sense that is a topic naturally of interest to those who are curious about human biology. This unit will enable you to relate what you read to your own sensory experiences – and indeed many of the questions asked have exactly that function. This unit will be best understood by those with some biological understanding.
