Men, Women & Health - New approaches to research and theory for improving health and health care
Men’s and women’s health have tended to be treated in rather stereotypical ways – as if all men are careless about their health, simply by virtue of their masculinity; and women’s health, when it comes down to it, is all about their gynaecology. This lecture will introduce the radically new approaches to gender and health being taken by the Centre for Men’s Health and the Feminism and Health Research Group at Leeds Metropolitan University.

This short video introduces viewers to Zelijko Vujackovic, M.D., Ph.D., professor of radiation oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and director of translational radiation sciences at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.
