On November 6, 2013, hundreds of Michigan State University Spartans around the world captured their world in videos and photos for a documentary about a day in the lives of Spartans. One of those Spartans is Anil Jain, University Distinguished Professor of computer science and engineering. On November 6, Jain was in Seoul, South Korea, where he was meeting with colleagues about his research on biometrics that is used for national security applications such as facial recognition software.
