Fest 2011 in Half Moon Bay. This conference was help in December 2011 and hosted by the Institute of Knowledge Management in Education. There were participants form K-12, Higher Ed, educational non-profits, foundations and start-up companies. The keynote speaker was Dr. Sugata Mitra.

This image is a clipping of a photograph of E. Lilian Todd's biplane on the ground. There is a person seated at the controls, possibly Miss Todd.,Inventor and self-made woman E. (Emma) Lilian Todd found a patron in the elderly and restless Olivia Sage. Sage, who probably came to know Todd through Helen Gould, had faith in her abilities and gave her $7,000 to design and build the plane seen here. It was constructed by Witteman Brothers of Staten Island.
