The Goat Rodeo Sessions is an ambitious and groundbreaking project that brings together four string virtuosos: world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, fiddler Stuart Duncan, bassist Edgar Meyer and mandolinist Chris Thile. These artists -- each prominent figures in the music space independently -- have come together as a unique ensemble for this project. Kenneth Feinberg '67, an esteemed attorney known for achieving comprehensive settlements in high-profile liability cases and for victims of large-scale disasters, has donated his papers and related materials to the UMass Amherst Libraries. The Feinberg Collection covers four decades, including his current oversight of compensation to victims of the BP oil spill and tenure as special master for the Sept. 11 Victims Compensation Fund.
