Gary Braver discusses his new novel, Tunnel Vision, in which a grad student, Zack Kashian, falls into a coma after a biking accident on an icy Boston street. Months later, he awakens, reciting the Lord's Prayer in its original Aramaic, although he claims to be an atheist. Dr. Aziz Bowala is an Associate Professor in the UCSD School of Medicine’s Division of Biomedical Informatics, where he directs the Section on Clinical Informatics. He has dual training in medicine and biomedical engineering informatics. At UCSD, he has developed the clinical data warehouse for research. He is the Co-Principle Investigator of SCANNER.

Afin d'établir le corpus de contes créoles guyanais, il a été entrepris une collecte exhaustive en métropole, aux Antilles, en Guyane, dans les revues, les romans, les recueils... Pas moins de 250 contes ont ainsi été rassemblés depuis les années 1800 à nos jours, cependant relativement peu portent sur l'esclavage.
