Reading Primary I am doing an action research project on children's experiences of reading in primary school. I am working with Year 5/6 children to gain an insight into how they view the reading process. I have looked in a variety of education journals but I have not found anything that can help me. I would like to know what previous research has been done in this area and what activties I could do with children to gain an understanding of their views. Thanks in advance.

I havent really looked at much research as of yet as I've only just started. The question is 'How do teaching styles in gymnastics affect children learning?'

Reading schemes Attitudes
Reading schemes Attitudes I am about to embark on a research project in Key Stage One about the influence of reading schemes on children's attitudes and feelings towards reading and books in general. Part of my 4,000 word write-up will be about 1,200 words of literature which I will review. I have been searching Google Scholar and EBSCO for articles relating to reading schemes in particular, but do not seem to be able to find anything more relevant than discussions about the literacy hour and s
Ability grouping Sweden
Ability grouping Sweden I am in my third year and I am an Inclusion Specialist. For my final research project I am going to Sweden. I was hoping to carry out a comparative study between the way in which we group pupils in primary schools (i.e. by ability/attainment), and how Sweden group pupils and the consequent effects on pupils attainment and self esteem, but so far I have found to research to find out how they group pupils. I have to complete a research proposal before I go so I would be gr

Religious education Teacher attitudes
Religious education Teacher attitudes I am a 3rd year teacher training student. Also I don't seem to be able to find
Religious education Hi, I am researching information for a curriculum strategy project that I am working on at university, but cannot seem to find the relevant information. The strategy is about the importance of religious education in today's society, how lessons can be made creative and interesting and why children need to learn about the subject.
