Blue Ribbon Readers: The Hamburger Game (Interactive)
The Hamburger Game is part of WPSU’s Blue Ribbon Readers, a collection of seven interactive games designed to help elementary school students gain reading comprehension competences. The Hamburger Game helps students practice attentive reading by choosing the main idea—or "meat"—from a passage of text and dragging it to the center of a sandwich. A hamburger appears and they win points if they are right.
Roald Amundsen and the Northwest Passage -- College of Charleston Professor Conducts Field Research
College of Charleston Italian professor Massimo Maggiari traveled to the arctic region and Gjoa Haven (Gjøahaven) to conduct first-hand research into Roald Amundsen, a polar explorer. He is researching what will be an anthropological biography as a follow-up to his 2001 book "Aurora Borealis." Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen was a Norwegian explorer of polar regions. He led the Antarctic expedition (1910-12) to discover the South Pole in December 1911, and he was the first expedition leader

2012 Gateway To Technology Program At Clemson, CU-ICAR
Clemson University's ICAR hosted the Gateway To Technology Program which rallied 84 seventh graders who were tasked with building prototype vehicles that underwent rigorous performance testing. The experience introduced the students to the world of automotive engineering.

Researchers at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, demonstrate that adult fruit flies fed either high-carb or high-protein diets develop metabolic abnormalities, including insulin resistance, which is a hallmark of Type 2 human diabetes. The issues covered by the course include state intervention, governance, law and institutions in development, privatization, participatory planning, decentralization, poverty, urban-rural linkages, corruption and civil service reform, trade and outsourcing and labor standards, post-conflict development and the role of aid in development.

Why study Law at University if I want to become a lawyer?
