Dora Kardovskaya, who was born in 1920 in Kherson and was an inmate of Auschwitz during the war years, testifies about the three places where Jews from Kherson and war prisoners were executed and buried in mass graves in Kherson and surrounding areas. Kardovskaya continues and tells how she and two other women found a mass grave of Kherson Jews, how the monument there fell into disrepair, and how she arranged for the repairing of the monument.
