Some of them are rare and all are too small to view clearly with the human eye. A self-taught photographer, Don produces the images for UA scientists and also volunteers for community organizations.

This short video gives excellent real life footage of a mother rabbit giving birth. Students will enjoy the close up views of these tiny babies. Rabbits are smaller than hares, and have comparatively shorter legs. Males (bucks) and females (does) are similar in appearance, but bucks tend to weigh more and have slightly broader heads.
