An Explanation of Oxidative Phosphorylation and Chemiosmosis
In this five minute video oxidative phosphorylation and chemiosmosis are explained using cartoon graphics and as part of a lecture. Phosphorylation is the second part of the electron transport chain where the ATP is generated. The term used for the process of ATP being generated is oxidative phosphorylation. The hydrogen protons going through a membrane is called chemiosmosis.
The Kreb Cycle
In this 17 minute video the Kreb's cycle is explained using cartoon graphics and a lecturer. The Kreb's cycle is also known as the citric acid cycle.

Renewable Fuels - by StudyJams
Renewable fuels are energy resources that can be replaced in a reasonable amount of time. They are sometimes called alternative fuels because they offer an alternative to fossil fuels, which cannot be replaced. Learn more about renewable fuels with this slide show from StudyJams. Vibrant images are set to music while information is written under each photo. A short, self-checking quiz is also included with this link.
Electricity - by StudyJams

Is Proton Therapy Treatment Optimal for Childhood Cancer?
MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center physician Dr. David Grosshans talks about the importance of proton therapy radiation for childhood cancer. After sharing the difference in traditional IMRT radiation and proton therapy, he discusses why proton therapy is optimal for children, how children tolerate proton therapy, preliminary outcomes for children treated with proton therapy, and the importance of having a comprehensive and dedicated team devoted to treating children with this form of radiation.
Study Shows Importance of Proton Therapy for Childhood Cancer
Dr. David Grosshans discusses a recent study that shows how proton therapy spares healthy tissue in children with cancer. The study illustrates how proton therapy radiation is able to avoid excess radiation dose to a variety of normal structures while maintaining equal target coverage. This is important for childhood cancers because excess radiation can cause damage to the hippocampus, an area involved in learning and memory.
