Stroke Treatment Centers: Heather Morrill's Experience with MUSC
Two days before her 38th birthday, Heather Morrill, a mother of three, a wife, and a veterinarian in the Charleston area suffered a stroke. Thanks to the Comprehensive Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center at MUSC, Heather completely recovered and is able to continue in all of those roles. Dr. Raymond Turner explains how a minimally invasive procedure of inserting 7 stents into Heather's artery was able to restore blood flow to her brain and save her life.
