The purpose of this research is to consider to what extent the moby-go could be used to enhance teaching and learning in the sample room studio. This study focuses on the evolution of accretional beach profiles under cnoidal and sinusoidal waves and on the reflection of those waves from the sand beach. The SUPERTANK test, STi0, conducted at Oregon State University in 1991 was reproduced at three different scales, 1:10, 1:8.5 and 1:11. Two tests were run at each scale by using sinusoidal and cnoidal waves.
