Michael Krasny visits Google's San Francisco office to present his book "Spiritual Envy: An Agnostic's Quest". This event took place on January 26, 2011, as part of the Authors@Google series.
Books by agnostics about their agnosticism (unlike the prolific atheists) are anything but a dime a dozen. In fact, Krasny's latest is one of only a dozen or so published this century. Krasny may be a university professor, but he doesn't address his questions as an academic. He explores agnosticism the way

The Clean Up Robot Song teaches students about clean up time in a different, creative way. Some of the lyrics include----"I am the clean up robot. Having so much fun putting toys away. Doing what my teachers say. Throwing trash away," etc. This would be a good teaching resource for the beginning of the year when elementary students are learning procedures and routines. This would be well suited for young students and/or special education students. (2:04)
"Blasting Off" is a song about counting by 5's to 100. Some of the lyrics include-"Blasting Off. It's a rocket ship race. Counting by 5's As we fly into face" As they count by 5's they also show rocket ships to match each number. The lyrics are repeated several times. This would be a good teaching resource for elementary students and/or special education students. This is a fun, different way to introduce or review counting by 5's. (2:00)

This image is a drawing showing a gathering of well-dressed women meeting in a room in a private home. Most of the women are seated in armchairs and sofas, while some are standing in the back. An older woman (possibly Mrs. Sage) stands on an Oriental carpet, addressing the crowd, while another woman is seated at a table or desk, presumably taking notes. The women's clothing appears to be from the late Nineteenth Century or early Twentieth Century.
This image is a newspaper clipping describing Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage's project to learn about the family history of her husband and herself.
