Statistical Physics
This course picks up the historical process leading to statistical mechanics, which is an important branch of modern physics. The lecture must also be very interesting even for the students who do not necessarily need statistical mechanics in their major but want to enjoy a part of essence of modern physics.
7.2 Negotiation skills Negotiation skills are essential for the project manager to get individuals and groups to agree on a common approach to a project, despite their potentially conflicting interests and priorities. The project manager needs to be able to negotiate with suppliers and customers and individuals to adopt a particular course of action. It is also important that negotiation is conducted in a way that will build long-term relationships, rather than simply secure short-term gains. Effective negoti
7.1 Sharing the project As we have seen, the execution of a project may depend on the involvement and co-operation of several departments or functions within an organisation. If this is the case, then, for it to succeed, they must be prepared to share ownership of the project, be willing to work together to help the project achieve its objectives and be happy to release adequate resources when appropriate. The project manager and their team therefore have to create and maintain good relationships with all interested
5.1 As to the meaning ...
How does the computer's peculiar binary world of digital entities differ from our analogue world of colour, sound, taste and touch? This unit explores the way in which information, in the form of text, still and moving images, and sound can cross the boundary from the analogue universe into a digital world.
2.1.1 A day in my life
Ever wondered how a computer processes data into information? This unit will help you to understand the distinction between the two and examines how a computer-based society impacts on daily life. You will learn what computers can do with data to produce information and how computers can be used to work with data and search for it, control machines, and support commercial operations.

Multiple Sclerosis - Cranial Nerves Exam - Oculomotor, Trochlear, Abducens (CN III, IV, VI) Sub-exam
Shelly is a 38-year-old African American female who initially presented with transverse myelitis 2 years ago. A lumbar puncture revealed multiple oligoclonal bands in the cerebral spinal fluid. MRI has demonstrated numerous plaques in the bilateral cerebral white matter. She eventually went on to recover from her initial attack but since her second attack has continued to progressively worsen. Her gait and other motor functioning have deteriorated and she is now wheelchair bound.
Information Theory
Information theory explores the fundamental limits of the representation and transmission of information. We will focus on the definition and implications of (information) entropy, the source coding theorem, and the channel coding theorem. These concepts provide a vital background for researchers in the areas of data compression, signal processing, controls, and pattern recognition.
