College of Charleston slugger Daniel Aldrich was named the NCBWA Freshman Player of the Year in 2011 and won the TD Ameritrade Home Run Derby. He was also the Collegiate Baseball National Freshman of the Year, SoCon Freshman of the Year, a Louisville Slugger All-American, NCBWA All-American, ABCA/Rawlings All-American, and CBI All-American.
