The Battle of Antietam
The bloodiest battle of the Civil War. This video goes into detail about how the battle plans of General Lee are discovered, but the inept Northern general snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Over 23,000 were killed and neither side won a clear cut victory. A week later the important Emancipation Proclamation was issued by Lincoln that freed the slaves in the South. Some scenes may be to intense for students.

In part 2 of this video, the Kratt Brothers continue their investigation of a mother croc's nesting rituals. A soft shelled turtle lays her eggs where the croc eggs are laid because she knows they will be safe.the crocodile hatchlings call to their mom to rescue them from the nest. Mom is super careful as she picks up the alligator and turtle babies in her mouth and carries them to the water. The brothers save the babies from predators. This is a good teaching resource for a science lesson/unit

How to Locate the Big and Little Dippers
The Big Dipper and the Little Dipper are asterisms that are a part of
the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, respectively. Look for the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper in the northern sky and this two minute video helps find these. A good video, but the graphics are weak.
