A great video to develop a discussion about how writers create ideas for readers to think about.

This video discusses some of the famous authors artists, architects, and musicians of the 1800s and a few of their most famous works It also discusses some of the changes in daily life in the 1800s. This is a great video to use as an overview of the time period and it provides good insights and images during its five minute running time. The video moves rapidly and so it may have to be paused to enable students to catch-up.
